Isaiah as the Fifth Gospel - An Aerial View of the Himalayas
Isaiah ranks high among the prophets of the Old Testament. Dr. Mark Gignilliat , professor at Beeson Divinity School, will take an aerial view of the book to get a sense of its larger patterns with special attention given to: rebellion and the knowledge of the Lord, righteousness and justice, the centrality and agency of God's Word, the Servant of the Lord, and the servants of the Servant. The larger redemptive patterns filled out in time in the person and work of Jesus Christ take their cues from Isaiah.
